I tried it for breakfast items and everything else. Its works great with everything else - soups, currys, baked fish etc. It is not a salt substitute, it is salt (sodium) and it's a vegetable source and it has to be good for you. Regarding half the salt intake, I cannot verify as it is very powdery versus granular for regular salt. However, perhaps because its powdery, you don't add a little bit and find out its far too salty; in that way it is much better than regular salt. For breakfast items like fried eggs and items like corn on the cob, I prefer the taste of regular salt (Himalayan or best quality sea salt) - but that is a very small percentage of my salt intake. Other than the cost, I would recommend it and if it does have tangible results, such as my hypertension goes down, I will update.

The taste is good , still trying to get the measurements right for the best taste. Wish it had a little texture as it feels and looks like a green.powder so the family is hesitant to use it and opt for the white salt .

Husband diagnosed with high blood pressure, hereditary, so we have replaced regular salt with green salt. So far we’ve liked it in most instances. Pasta water looks a little funny with green flecks in it but tastes great. Love it so much I purchased some for my foodie son. He loves it too.

I don't use a lot of salt and this product works just fine when I DO use salt. So far, so good.
