I tried your green salt and was put off by two thing:
1) the product is SO powdery, thought it would have a bit more body. However, if that was the only issue, I could have overlooked.
2) I CANNOT abide the smell. That kelpy odor makes it impossible for me to use. I know this is totally personal, and am sure that other users have no issue with it.
Should not have bought two bags. oh well - caveat emptor!

It was a really nice taste, unlike salt and it's certainly healthier. On rare occasions I mix it with pink salt for a saltier flavor. I have ordered several bags on two separate occasions because I never want to run out of it. I purchased the seasoning, haven't made use of it yet but I tasted it and it has a nice flavor which would be good to place on my chicken, fish or veggies.

I lost a Kidney to cancer 5 years ago, and it is imperative that I keep my blood pressure normal and limit salt. This product has saved my cooking and added flavor back to my low sodium recipes! The bag lasts a long time- I am slowly using a bit more of the green salt (I am careful with any salt). This is a far better option than any potassium laden salt substitute- it tastes better too! I will be ordering it again!

I took a chance in Green Salt and am glad I did. My husband has high blood pressure and I'm sensitive to high sodium foods. I was so sick of undersalted and bland food so I thought I'd try it. So I've joined the ranks of people trying to lower their blood pressure through less salt intake. I LOVE SALT! So, I gave green salt a try and am very pleased with the flavor. You can add A LOT to your meal and it's still less than regular salt. I use it more for a finishing salt than a cooking salt. Going to tell my cardiologist about it at my next appointment.

I was amazed on well this salt tasted. I have been using a hummolaian salt for years. I can tell the difference in flavor between thevtwo. I really like the flavor in Green Salt. The only ussyenis that it is a little higher in sodium. But tge flavor is great.

I love this salt. I add it to everything from my morning eggs to my home made salad dressings. The smell is a bit vegetative but doesn't transfer to the taste. I'm a bit of a saltaholic so having a low sodium version that doesn't taste weird is huge.

I use Green Salt on almost everything. It's especially good on salmon. I use it on all vegetables and on baked potatoes. I only use it after the food is cooked so as not to lose any nutrients. Love it.

I really missed salt- trying a lower sodium diet- but I LOVE Green Salt! It tastes great- way better than the salt free spice blends alternatives. And it has that saltiness that I missed. With WAY less sodium. Only thing to consider is that if you live I. A humid climate like I do, keep it in a covered shaker and perhaps add some uncooked rice to keep it dry and shakable.

Good product. Delicious salty flavor, combines well with most things. Note, it is not sodium free. It's just LOWER in sodium than actual salt. So don't go crazy with it!

I'm on a restricted sodium diet and have been missing having salt on eggs, vegetables, and other foods because a very little salt has a high sodium count. Plus, I eat a certain amount of prepared foods that already have salt, so in the past I didn't use salt at all.

We tried it on a simple tomato, cucumber, onion salad, and it worked very well with that combo.
Next, we tried it on grilled salmon. This was amazing! The green salt has a slight, ocean/brininess to it and worked perfectly with the salmon!
Next, scrambled eggs. I think this worked very well with the sea salt, as well.
So far, we've just used it as, more or less, a finishing salt, to a good degree of success. My wife felt that it wasn't much different than salt mixed with dried parsley, but I think there is an added depth to the foods we've tried that go well and above salt and parsley. Plus, it is healthier than pure salt.
I will keep experimenting and will purchase another bag when I start running low.

We love the unique, umami salty flavor of Green Salt and it's great to cut back on sodium chloride. Green Salt does have a plant flavor (my husband says it tastes like salty matcha) but it combines nicely with the salt flavor and isn't apparent on other foods. So far we've used Green Salt on various veggies, eggs, pasta, and even sprinkled on bagels with cream cheese, yum! The sprinkle of green on foods is pretty, too. So glad to have found Green Salt, will definitely keep ordering it.

I started using Green Salt 45 days after removing salt (any kind: sea salt, Himalayan salt, etc.) from my diet, so it really felt like Heaven sent! Salicornia has such a good taste, and it makes anything taste so good. I never thought it would be possible to live without salt, but Salicornia really makes it possible.

I haven't really been able to use much since it's VERY salty and not the easiest to "sprinkle" out of the bag. I will need to obtain a shaker with 1 or very few holes to only allow a small amount at a time. The "earthiness" of it smells more like fish but doesn't taste like it. Interesting.

I have CKD, (chronic kidney disease), so getting less salt in my diet is extremely important. I asked my doctor would this be ok to take and not hurt my kidneys. He approved and I use it when salt is needed. Not processed foods since so much salt is already in that. But vegetables, stews, soups, meats, etc. I cannot taste the difference in flavor when using Green Salt. You get the flavor salt gives but 50% less sodium than regular salt. I couldn’t be happier. Healthier food is always the best. So far really good.
