Fantastic , love everything about it. Good stuff . I use it daily but had to change my habit of putting salt while cooking … so in this case I put Salicornia after words . Also color needs some getting used to since of course its green and its very powdery texture , so lets say on top of tomatoes it looks a bit dusty but than again I don't mind any of it .. It does look different yet it tastes salty , but “healthy salty “ like Ocean :) and I really enjoy it . Thank you .

I wanted to cut down my sodium and was looking for an alternative. Truly, Green Salt tastes like salt because it is salt based. As the ads say, there are also other minerals in it, as it's a plant based product. So it can actually help lower blood pressure in many ways besides lowering your sodium intake. All that sounds good, but what about the taste?
I was a little skeptical, as originally it had a slight bit of a herbal flavor as well. But as I started to use it, I found that foods that tasted bland without salt (for instance, chicken breast meat) were seasoned by Green Salt in a very interesting way. Instead of 'regular' salt, which can overpower the taste of food... Green Salt has a much more pleasant way of not tasting overly salted, and actually brings out the foundational flavor of whatever I put it on. So though it's not overly 'salty', it perfectly seasons meat, vegetables, etc., and I've found that my sodium levels are down, but I'm not sacrificing taste. In fact, the subtle enhancing of the real flavor of foods was astonishing, and I feel like I can really taste the flavors that salt is supposed to enhance. So with very little Green Salt, I am not feeling deprived, but am 100% enjoying food without overdoing sodium. I will be continuing to buy this product, and am happy to give it a thumbs up!

I am an enthusiastic cook but am aware of the pitfalls of salt. Finding this low sodium substitute is great. For those expecting the usual "saltiness" from ordinary salt, I have to say don't expect green salt to season your food the ordinary way. I have read some of the feed back from people who hate it, and feel they have expectations based on their past experiences with seasoning with salt.
Greensalt will produce a taste experience more closely akin to the "Umami" experience with which we Asians are more familiar. I personally love it. An idea for your marketing: Provide recipes that offer correct measures to produce the best taste results. I am still experimenting since the usual amounts using salt don't always produce the best taste result.

My only negative is the packaging it came in, a plastic bag that is not recyclable where I live. I encourage you to change that.

I've been using Green Salt now for about three weeks. I'm a bad salt-o-holic, so I had to do something to reduce my consumption. It isn't like it replaces salt so much as it satisfies that salt craving without any of the dreadful metallic taste of other chemical substitutes I've tried. I've used it on some dishes, and they're lightly salted, but satisfying. I've even used it on really bland food that demands salt such as eggs, and it has tasted good. Yesterday, I used it for cooking for the first time; I can't tell any difference between the lentil soup I make with salt and the lentil soup I made yesterday with Green Salt. My next trials will be to try it on popcorn and corn on the cob — two foods you instinctively want that salt crystal crunch. But for now, I'm quite pleased with the results. The extra cost is worth it to me because this is the first product I think I could live with and enjoy. I'm certainly using a lot less real salt.
My tips are: 1) You get used to seeing green on your food... it's like a sprinkle of herbs; 2) Get a dedicated salt shaker with adjustable holes. Green salt is a fine powder, and if you try to use it straight from the bag, you're going to get too much. That's also not necessary; just a small amount seems to add a salty flavor without being overpowering.

Green Salt is helping stop my salt addiction. I am now using it instead of salt. The key for me has been making Green Salt easy to use. I put it in a clear spice shaker on the stovetop, right next to my regular salt shaker, and labeled it "Green Salt - 50% less salt." So every time I think of adding salt to something, the pretty Green Salt shaker is right there to use instead!
