My doctor told me that I needed to cut down on salt. I found an ad for Green Salt online and decided to try it. I use it on grape tomatoes , which I love as a snack. Also add it to cooked broccoli and cauliflower and some other vegetables included in my meals. I was disappointed after my first order to find that the company ran out and didn’t know when they would have more. I hope that doesn’t happen again and am glad to have three bags to last me a while.

I am a huge visual eater, and I love cooking and baking, so the green can make dishes look off putting. Taste is great! This is very powdery in texture so sprinkling it on food is different from salt. Worth a try, in my opinion.

In my childhood, my mother and I used to pick Salicornia from the local marshes, cut it up and add to all types of salads and chicken dished.
